Blending
perfectly with its luxuriant tropical surroundings,
the Casuarina Beach is located on the beach
at Anse aux Pins, in the wild south of Mahé,
along a stretch of white sand lapped by
the blue-green waters of the Indian Ocean.
Casuarina is the name of a tree that grows
along the shore. The hotel complex is made
up of four recently constructed bungalows,
each housing three rooms (12 bungalow rooms)
and eight rooms in the main building overlooking
the beach. All rooms come with veranda or
terrace, en-suite shower with or without
bath, air conditioning, ceiling fan, telephone
and individual safe.
The
restaurant, bar and reception are housed
in a rustic building with coconut trunks
as pillars and a thatched roof made of macouti
(braided coconut leaf). The restaurant offers
exclusive Creole, international and Italian
cuisine.
The Casuarina Beach, with its unique Creole
style, is an ideal base for those who want
to explore the wild south of Mahé
Island. The hotel has numerous facilities.
